Artist’s Narrative:

“‘Deep Forest 1’ captures the mysterious energy of the woods under the cover of twilight. In fact, I used a layered splatter technique to suggest the dappled light filtering through a dense canopy. Consequently, the warm oranges and golds at the base of the canvas feel like a glowing forest floor against the deep, midnight background. The vertical texture provides a sense of structure that mimics the upward growth of ancient trees.

I chose a sleek black frame to ground the vibrant jewel tones and create a window-like effect into this hidden world. Ultimately, this painting is meant to evoke the quiet, untamed beauty of nature when no one is watching. As a result, it serves as a contemplative piece that draws the viewer deeper into its abstract shadows with every look”.
