“‘Deep Forest 2’ continues the exploration of light and shadow within a dense, abstract woodland. This companion piece leans into cooler teal and aqua tones to suggest a different corner of the same twilight forest. Consequently, the vertical white and gold accents stand out like moonlight striking the bark of slender trees. The heavy texture of the acrylic on canvas adds a tactile dimension that invites the viewer to linger on the details. The matching black frame ensures a cohesive look that emphasizes the vibrant, energetic splatters of color. Ultimately, I wanted this work to feel both grounded and ethereal at the same time. As a result, it functions as a powerful stand-alone statement or as a necessary chapter in the ‘Deep Forest’ story”.
