Artist’s Narrative:

“In contrast to ‘Sunflower 1’, the narrative in ‘Sunflower 2’ shifts from the singular to the social. I wanted to capture the ‘dance’ that happens when two of these magnificent flowers share a space. You can see the energy in the background is more complex here. There are sweeping strokes of azure and mossy green that suggest a garden in motion. Consequently, the blooms themselves are more expressive. Their textured centers and radiating petals create a sense of companionship.

Similarly to its counterpart, this work is housed in a matching rustic red frame. This creates a visual bridge between the two pieces. In fact, this piece is fundamentally about harmony and the shared vibrancy of life. As a result, it is a celebration of connection. It is crafted to bring a sense of organic movement and joyful, sun-drenched color to a collector’s sanctuary.

Sunflower 2 celebrates the dance of connection, but every dance needs a partner.
