Abstract Mixed Media Painting

Artist’s Narrative:

“With ‘Mosaic Abstract,’ I wanted to explore the concept of a landscape deconstructed. Rather than a literal horizon, vertical ‘slices’ of color and texture build this piece—assembling memories of water, moss, and stone into a new, rhythmic whole. I worked with mixed media layers to create a sense of history within the frame. As a result, you can see where colors overlap, bleed, and hide behind one another.

The composition is grounded by deep teals and aquatic blues, but it’s the architectural elements—the sharp lines and that deliberate, central triangle—that give the piece its soul. To me, it feels like looking through a rain-streaked window or catching glimpses of the world through a forest of trees. It’s a contemplative piece designed to bring a sense of calm, structured beauty and modern texture to a living space.”
